The former hooker toured with the British and Irish Lions to South Africa in 2009, and represented his country at two Rugby World Cups.
In 2013, after 16 seasons at the top, injury forced Lee to retire and he made the transition into the world of business.
He now leverages his enviable skillset and expertise in the corporate environment coaching senior executives, teams and boards across multiple sectors, from finance, investment banking and commodity trading, to tech, retail and manufacturing.
For Lee, effective coaching is underpinned by self-understanding and development of one’s own performance. This awareness fuels his passion for the elite mentorship he delivers on a daily basis.
“You’ve got to learn to walk the talk before you can inspire others through your actions. That’s a big part of getting leadership right,” Lee says.
Through his coaching, Lee creates the space senior leaders need to develop a growth mindset that will nurture solid foundations for long-term prosperity.
Appreciating the correlation between sport and business, Lee knows how much can be achieved when individuals unite to strive for a common goal; self-empowerment, discipline and subscription to a winning ethos are fundamental to a culture of success in both professional domains.
Lee also continues his role in the rugby community, sitting on the Bath Rugby Foundation Board. He is a patron of various rugby charities and a cardiac research charity.
